|AUGUST 11th & 12th|
CARP FARMERS' MARKET
Garlic Festival 2012
We're very pleased to present our 13th annual edition of the Garlic Festival, featuring more garlic in one place than you can imagine. Fresh garlic bulbs, garlic braids and decorations, garlic concoctions, garlic braiding demonstrations, garlic cooking demonstrations, a garlic contest, garlic tasting, and wonderful garlic aromas.
The Festival will be held for two days:
Free Parking on the Fairgrounds
Wheel Chair Accessible
There will be 33 booths inside the Exhibit Hall, and more than 69 booths outside in a large square beside the building. About 30 outside booths will be selling many different varieties of fresh garlic, and several more will have garlic products such as garlic spreads, garlic dressings, garlic baskets, and pottery garlic holders.
In the centre of the square you will find two large tents housing all of the garlic events, demonstrations and information sessions. Here you will also find the Schedule of Events and a map of the site with all vendors listed.
We will also have two separate food courts, front and back, each with its own under-cover seating. There will also be lots of picnic tables scattered throughout the site.
If its entertainment you're after, you will enjoy the various buskers around the grounds.
And if it's Garlic that you came for, you've come to the right place. There will be over 60 varieties of garlic on sale from more than 30 vendors, and 11 of the varieties will be available for tasting in our Garlic Tasting Booth. You can also rate them for strength.
