Mavis and Mickie team up to form Acorny Acres. Mickie carves realistic birds; mostly birds of prey, songbirds and shorebirds. If there is a bird you love - let him know and he will carve it for you. He recently competed in the Ward World Carving Championships in Ocean City, Maryland and was rewarded with a first and second place ribbon in the shorebird category. Beautify your fireplace or wood stove when not in use with a "one of a kind" fireplace screen. Each one is created from Mavis' imagination or with the information from a customer. Hobbies, careers, family members, pets and places of interest are all incorporated into a screen to make it a lasting and personal memento.
