Welcome to Apple Ridge Lilies. Our ever growing lilly beds, located ten minutes east of Carleton Place, are bursting with thousands of flowers that we have accumulated over the years. They consist primarily of Asiatic, Oriental and L.A. Hybrids. Forty new hybrids will be added this spring! For those of you familiar with only a few lily hybrids a July trip to our farm is a real eye opener. Make sure you call for an appointment. The Apple Ridge selection includes a wide variety of colour combinations with plant sizes ranging from dwarf up to four and five feet tall. Our favourite, the L.A. Hybrid, a cross between Oriental and trumpet, has proven to be a hardy lily type for the Ottawa area. It's delicate fragrance is sensational. This variety is an ideal candidate for cut flowers, which we also offer during the blooming season in mid July. Visit our market booth from mid May through the summer months.
