Glen Dunning Potter Glen Dunning studied pottery in Charlottetown P.E.I. from 1971-1973 Glen's pottery is characterized by it's attention to design and function. The handles on his teapots, pitchers, mugs etc., are comfortable and easy to grip, made to be used and re-used on a daily basis. His teapots pour well, with locking lids that can't fall off, and his teacups are a generous size, ideal for soup, café au lait, or tea. Although Dunning's work is light in weight, it is sturdily designed, and is able to stand up to daily use. With robust rims, locking lids, and stout handles, the work is designed to give years of service, and enjoyment. The functional work is all microwave and dishwasher safe, and oven proof. Dunning's pottery has no lead, barium carbonate, or cadmium in the glazes, and is totally food safe. You can see Glen at the Carp Farmers Market each Sat. morning, or visit his studio in Embrun.
