The Herb Garden is nestled in the Ottawa Valley, about 45 km west of Parliament Hill towards Almonte. We have over 50 display and theme beds in 2 acres of gardens in a tranquil, rural setting. Here you can indulge all your senses and fully appreciate the range of aromas, textures, and colours of more than 200 varieties of organically grown herbs and everlastings. We offer many different workshops on all aspects of growing and using culinary, medicinal and decorative herbs. Also during the summer months we host a series of special events, demonstrations and cultural activities,weddings, business meeting and our famous Sunday Brunch by reservation. Our 130-year-old renovated log barn giftshop - the "Comfrey Cottage"- features our own specially prepared line of herbal products, as well as many high quality items prepared by local artisans from around the Ottawa Valley. You can browse in a very cosy and relaxed atmosphere and find that unique gift for a special person.
