Mali's Famous Egg Rolls Malivanh Iemsisanith emigrated to Canada over 20 years ago. Working at several top notch Ottawa restaurants in the first few years she perfected her English, learnt a little French. For the last 10 years she has run JD's Restaurant and Lounge in Carp. Once a week she would cook oriental food for her customers and they couldn't get enough but it was her famous egg rolls that they consumed in voracious amounts. Her customers began to encourage her to produce her egg rolls commercially but Mali loving the art of cooking did not want to be bothered with the frustrations of commercialism. Therefore, her customers encouraged her to sell her famous "Egg Rolls" at the Carp Farmers Market. Of course it's been a great success.
