Early spring and the sweet, fresh aroma of bubbling maple syrup tantalizes the senses and draws you into the depths of the maple woods at the corner of Huntmar Drive and March Road near Carp, Ontario. Maple Holme Sugar Bush has been stoking it's old fashion wood fired syrup operation since 1988 and owners Stephen and Angela Skinner provide the TLC necessary in order to pass on this liquid gold to our Market's patrons. With 1500 taps in total, some on pipeline and some on the traditional bucketsystem, the woods during March to late April, are a bubble of activity. Feel free to stop by the sugar camp, but call first to make sure we're there. We are at the Carp Farmers' Market every Saturday morning from May to October.
